  • Second Guard: Eldrin
  • Third Guard: Goran
  • Fourth Guard: Drax
  • Additional Guards: Kaden, Sorin, Tarnak, Marek, Kazrak, Targan, Zarek, and Thalor.

Scribe Caste Chart & Remodeling the Magistrate residence in the Magistrate Hall

This morning, I focused on developing organizational charts for the Scribe Caste. These charts display various positions and roles that individuals within the caste can occupy, offering a clear and concise visual representation of the organizational structure.

As I awaited the review of the documents, I took the opportunity to refresh the decor of the Magistrate residence within the Magistrate Hall. I'm delighted to share a few photos showcasing the updated space and how the changes have come together.

CIVIL LAW --> Reading Diplomat

Reading Magistrates again. book 20

Most ports and islands on Thassa, of course, are not managed by the Merchants, but, commonly, by magistrates appointed by the city councils. In Port Kar, my city, the utilization of the facilities of the port is regulated by a board of four magistrates, the Port Consortium, which reports directly to the Council of Captains, which, since the downfall of the warring Ubars, is sovereign in the city. I suppose the magistrate, who, with his papers, met us at the dock, did not believe my story.

Rules and Laws

Yesterday was quite productive! I successfully completed all the Rules and Laws, which are now proudly displayed on the walls of the Scribe Hall. The entire process was both challenging and rewarding, and I'm thrilled with the final outcome. The Scribe Hall now serves as an invaluable resource for those seeking to understand the intricacies of Gorean society and its governing principles.

Here is the initial compilation of Telnus residents who are regularly seen in public. Please feel free to contact Magistrate Luna (myself) if you notice any names that should be added or require amendment. Together, we can ensure that this roster is as comprehensive and accurate as possible.

Here is the initial deescription of the Warrior Caste, which is now available for all to view in a publicly accessible location. As more explanations for the other castes become available, they will also be posted here, providing a comprehensice resource for those seeking to understand the intricacies of the Gorean caste system.

We cordially invite you to visit the Scribe Hall, where you will discover an array of recent updates and enhancements. Come experience firsthand the improvements made to the hall, and marvel at the wealth of knowledge it now offers.

Compass

Directional ReferencesAll directions on the planet are calculated from the Sardar Mountains, which for the purposes of calculating direction, plays a role the same as Earth's north pole. The two main directions, so to speak, in the Gorean way of thinking are Ta-Sardar-Var and Ta-Sardar-Ki-Var, or as one would normally say, Var and Ki-Var. Var means "a turning" and Ki signifies negation or "not." One might speak of "turning to the Sardar" and "not turning to the Sardar." Something like either facing north or not facing north. The main divisions of the map are Ta-Sardar-Var and the other seven. Taking the Sardar as the "north pole," the other directions, clockwise as Earth clocks move (Gorean clock hands move in the opposite direction), would be, Ta-Sardar-Var, Ror, Rim, Tun, Vask (sometimes spoken of as Verus Var, or the true turning away), Cart, Klim, and Kail.

Compass Points

Kail-Northwest

Ta-Sardar-Var--North

Ror-Northeast

Klim-West

Rim-East

Cart-Southwest

Vask-South

Tun-Southeast
